The Talon

At Clarinda Academy, we strive to find new ways to challenge our students and push them outside of their comfort zone. The Talon, Clarinda’s monthly student newspaper, is one of the ways in which we are striving to make our campus better every day. The goal of the newspaper is to build campus awareness and keep the student body up to date on upcoming events. The paper is run by a select group of students who are responsible for developing articles from start to finish; brainstorming story ideas, arranging and conducting interviews, and writing articles. The newspaper is published once a month.
