Treatment Modalities


Safe Crisis Management (SCM)


A comprehensive training curriculum focused on preventing and managing crisis events. SCM includes a trauma-sensitive approach with emphasis on building positive relationships.


Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)


An evidence-based psychosocial treatment model designed to treat posttraumatic stress and related emotional and behavioral problems.


Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)


An evidence-based treatment model used to reduce emotional distress caused by traumatic memories. EMDR uses rapid and rhythmic eye movements to stimulate the brain, combined with guided recollection of trauma. This is thought to unlock negative emotions caused by a stressful event. The person can then better cope with memories of trauma.


Pathways to Self-Discovery and Change


An outcomes-based program for delivering cognitive restructuring and social skills training to adolescent substance-abusing offender.


Aggression Replacement Training


A ten-week group for all students hitting three core components: Social Skills, Moral Reasoning and Anger Control Training.


The Council for Boys and Young Men


A strength-based, gender specific group that promotes young men’s safe and healthy passage through the adolescent years.


Girls Circle


A strength-based, gender specific group that promotes young women’s safe and healthy passage through the adolescent years.
